One of the forerunners of photo-realism: László Méhes

We were sad to hear, László Méhes, one of the most important and internationally renowned figures in modern Hungarian art, passed away in Bry-sur-Marne on July 5, 2022. He was recognized as one of the major artists of Hungary, as well as he was one of the most important and internationally renowned figures in modern Hungarian art. His works are in the collections of major institutions such as the Centre George Pompidou, National Museum of Hungary. As a remembrance, we are sharing an interview from 2017.
