The winners of the 2020 European Heritage Awards / Europa Nostra Awards, Europe’s top honour in the field, were celebrated with a virtual gathering that connected heritage lovers, professionals, volunteers and supporters from across Europe and beyond. The town of Hvar took part in the celebration from the Arsenal building, which won in the category of “conservation” for the renovation and strengthening of the Arsenal’s load-bearing structure.

An illustrious anniversary, as well as a prestigious event of the future, brought to life the Council of Central European Consular Corps presidency meeting on 13 September in Vonyarcvashegy, Hungary.
One of the apropos of the Presidency meeting is that the panel will be introduced at the Hungarian Institute for Foreign Affairs and Trade on 24 September.

Honorary Consuls working in Central Europe created a new cross-border organisation in Budapest in April 2020 under the name of Council of the Central European Consular Corps. Among others, the Council aims to coordinate arts and cultural events, to hold consultations at the planning stage and to implement joint programmes in every sector of cooperation, while asserting economic interests.
